The Big Dog

I'm Joseph Watson, founder of Big Dog Studios — an independent software studio I run in Michigan.

I started it for a simple reason: too many apps treat you like a metric to grow instead of a person to serve. I wanted to build the opposite — tools with real depth, built on data you can actually check, and honest about what they do and don't know. No hype. No dark patterns. No shortcuts.

ROUNDCALL is the first of them — the MMA companion I always wished I had as a fan.

The name? That's Odie and Lola, our two big dogs and the reason the house is never quiet. They — and my fiancée, who puts up with all of it — are what "Big Dog" is really about: loyalty, showing up, and going all in on the things you love. That's the standard I hold every product to.
